How an early cosmic slowdown could explain CMB's missing long-range patterns

Large-angle correlations in the CMB are unexpectedly weak, a tension standard inflation struggles to explain. This model inserts a decelerated pre-inflationary phase before inflation proper, which reshapes the causal structure early in cosmic history and naturally truncates the primordial power spectrum at large scales. The prediction matches Planck's anomaly while remaining consistent with small-scale observations.
