BlackHawk v3.0 extends a public code for computing how black holes radiate away via Hawking evaporation. The update adds six new black hole geometries—including regular black holes without singularities and objects that bounce to white holes—and calculates the crucial greybody factors that determine what particles escape. This lets researchers test whether alternative geometries proposed in quantum gravity theories produce measurably different radiation signatures.
