Claw AI Lab turns autonomous research from a black-box prompt-to-paper process into an interactive lab where users assemble customizable AI research teams with distinct roles and workflows. The system's key innovation is the Claw-Code Harness, which connects local code, datasets, and checkpoints directly into experiments and feeds results back for iteration—eliminating the failure modes of partial runs and mismatched reporting. On five AI research case studies, expert judges rated Claw consistently higher than baselines on idea novelty, experiment completeness, and paper quality.
