Neutrino oscillations require at least two massive neutrinos, but experiments hint one might be exactly massless. This work proposes a hidden gauge symmetry that forbids one neutrino's mass term while keeping the others massive, consistent with all data. The mechanism also self-completes into a dark sector that confines and produces a dark matter candidate.
