Finding hidden symmetries that survive quantum corrections in Higgs physics

When multiple scalar fields interact, certain combinations of their coupling strengths remain unchanged by quantum corrections—a powerful constraint called renormalization group invariance. Using scaling symmetries and global symmetries that don't overlap, the authors construct these invariants systematically and show how they extend to all loop orders. The method applies to the two-Higgs doublet model and may help address why the Higgs mass doesn't blow up under quantum effects.
