Linearized Soliton Perturbation Theory (LSPT) provides a direct method for constructing quantum soliton states as squeezed coherent states plus corrections, enabling multi-loop calculations of masses and scattering amplitudes. The framework handles non-normalizable momentum eigenstates and applies to kinks and domain walls. This pedagogical treatment makes an underused computational tool more accessible to researchers working with solitons in quantum field theory.
