New software automates the tedious algebra of quantum field theory

Franz R. Sattler

FunKit is a Mathematica toolkit that automatically derives functional equations (like Dyson–Schwinger or renormalization group equations) from master equations in quantum field theory. It traces large tensor expressions efficiently and exports results to C++, Julia, or Fortran for numerical evaluation. The package cuts out weeks of manual algebra and serves multiple equation systems across different theoretical frameworks.
