How do physicists compute the weird special functions hiding in quantum calculations?

Physicists frequently encounter multivariate hypergeometric functions in quantum field theory and cosmology, but computing them is painful: their defining series only converge in narrow regions, and extending beyond requires clever mathematical tricks. HyperPrecision automates this by converting the problem into a system of differential equations and solving it numerically along a path connecting start to finish, handling functions like Appell and Horn series that appear constantly in loop integrals and holographic correlators.
