When you engineer quantum field theories from M-theory, their hidden symmetries produce anomalies—usually computed via complicated geometry. This work shows you can extract the same information from the algebra of branes probing the underlying Calabi-Yau space, trading difficult intersection number calculations for path algebra. It works where geometry fails.
