Can twisted spacetime change how neutrinos oscillate?

Neutrinos oscillate between flavors as they travel—a quantum effect already observed. But what if spacetime itself has torsion, a twisting related to particle spin? Using Einstein-Cartan theory, these researchers derived new oscillation formulas for constant and time-varying torsion, showing the effect depends on neutrino spin orientation. This opens a path to test whether spacetime torsion exists via precision neutrino experiments.
