How do you map out closed string trajectories without brute-force doubling?

Thomas Basile, Chrysoula Markou

June 2, 2026

String theory's closed string states form complex landscapes hard to catalog directly. These authors use open string trajectories as seeds, then apply symplectic algebra generators to build closed string candidates, filtering physical ones via Diophantine equations. The method sidesteps the computational wall of naive string doubling.
