Do extra dimensions scramble the electron's properties in braneworlds?

In braneworld models with extra dimensions, perturbations mix fermionic Kaluza-Klein modes that should stay separate. Using singular value decomposition, the authors show that parity-breaking disturbances create cross-mode couplings that shuffle probability densities toward the brane, exposing hidden states normally invisible to detectors.
